I am filing a safety complaint regarding my 2023 Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 4MATIC. The vehicle has approximately 23,000 miles. On multiple occasions, the vehicle has abruptly and violently applied the brakes and/or come to a near stop while I was driving on highways and side roads, even though there was nothing in front of me that should have triggered emergency braking. There was no vehicle, pedestrian, cyclist, object, or road hazard present that would justify this braking event. This is not normal braking behavior. The car essentially performs a…

On Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, the glass panel located between the windshield and sunroof on my 2020 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG unexpectedly detached and flew off while driving. This posed a serious safety risk to me and others on the road. There were no prior warning lights, messages, or symptoms before the failure occurred. My vehicle developed a coolant warning during normal road use. I had not experienced any known collision, crash, or unusual impact. I brought the vehicle to an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer for inspection. The dealer diagnosed the problem as: “Front low-temperature cooler replacement – impact damage causing leak.” The repair estimate was approximately $2,385. The failed component is the front low-temperature cooler located directly behind the lower front grille. Based on the location and design, the cooler appears to have limited protection…

The vehicle exhibits an intermittent, severe electronic-hydraulic transmission control defect where it completely rejects gear shifts from Park (P) to Drive (D), or forcefully defaults back into Park upon operation. The servicing dealership's diagnostic tear-down confirmed an internal failure of the mechatronic valve body and the integrated park solenoid at only 62,141 miles. A transmission that unexpectedly rejects directional electronic gear selection or commands unsafe safety-lock engagement while attempting to transition into active traff…

CONTINENTAL CONTISPORTCONTACT SSR TIRES SIDE WALL RIP/TEAR (MERCEDES BENZ), THIS IS THE FORTH REPLACED TIRES, COMPLAINED SEVERAL TIMES AND FALLS ON DEATHS EARS. MY CONCERN IF A MAJOR CRASH DO TO THE TIRES THEN WHO IS AT FAULT. REPLACING IT SEVERAL TIMES IS NOT THE ANSWER. TAKING THESE TIRES OFF THE ROAD WILL SAVES LIVES. CAR ONLY HAS 6000 MILES ON IT.

THE PARKING BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON WHILE DRIVING ONE DAY AT START-UP THE BRAKE WOULD NOT RELEASE FOR 30 MINUTES WHILE TRYING VARIOUS METHODS RECOMMENDED BY MERCEDES BENZ SUPPORT AND THE OPERATORS MANUAL. THE BRAKE LIGHT HAS COME ON WHEN IT STARTS UP AND THE PARKING BRAKE COULD NOT BE RELEASED PREVENTING THE CAR FROM MOVING. ALSO THE WARNING LIGHT COMES ON WHEN DRIVING. I WILL UPLOAD A PICTURE OF THIS.
