Twice, the car has autonomously braked when there was no threat to the car. The first time we were subsequently rear ended, though fortunately at low speed. There was cosmetic damage to the bumpers of both cars and the occupants were shaken up, but not injured. The second time the were driving at about 35mph when the car slammed on the brakes. Fortunately the following vehicle was not close and there was no collision. The occupants were again shaken up, but not injured. The "braking assistance" can be disabled, but only for the current trip.…
The vehicle experienced repeated electrical wiring harness damage in the lighting, tire and connector areas due to exposed and insufficiently protected wiring near socket terminations. On two separate service visits, authorized dealership technicians confirmed that rodents chewed through multiple exposed wires. The affected wiring involves critical electrical systems. The connectors lack adequate shielding, loom, or protective insulation at exposed termination points. The insulation ends before the connector, leaving conductors vulnerable to e…

September 8th, 2024 @ approximately 3pm My Mercedes EQE 350+ accelerated to a high speed when the front tire touched a curb. The car ran over the curb and into the parking lot. I was able to steer the car but the brakes didn't work. The car kept going through a stop sign and into the intersection. Luckily there were no cars in the intersection and I finally thought to turn the car off. It then stopped. The whole rubber covering over the battery was destroyed from the rocks on the curb. The battery was severely damaged also. The car was at the …

Description of Incident: On January 19, 2026, this vehicle was involved in a severe frontal collision. Despite significant structural damage resulting in a total loss (GEICO Claim: 0445628610101151), multiple critical safety systems failed to activate. Specific System Failures: SRS (Airbags): None of the 10 airbags deployed despite a high-energy impact that met deployment thresholds. Active Brake Assist: The system failed to monitor traffic or apply autonomous braking to reduce impact severity. Steering/Stability Assist: No steering interve…

On Multiple occasions, the vehicle has spun out of control as though it's reacting to something that is not present. On May 10, 2026, headed north on the highway the car again lost control first veering right and then left into the highway median where it collided, spun out and hit again. I had injuries and a mild concussion.

Car had a burning smell when entered and so stopped the car and had it towed to the dealership on 9/20/26 (Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel). Dealer said that a "liquid beverage were spilled onto the rear passenger seat are, resulting in liquid intrusion and a short circuit at the rear SAM control unit. This caused multiple vehicle malfunctions and a burning odor." A spilt beverage, not even a lot of liquid, caused a potential electrical fire in the car. This is not ok and a potential safety concern. Technician said this can happen again if a …

On [XXX] around [XXX] while driving my 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE350 [XXX] near Santa Clarita, CA, I experienced a flat tire due to a 4 mm puncture in the center tread of the rear driver's side tire. I immediately contacted Mercedes Me customer support , and the representative advised me that my vehicle's run-flat tire system would allow me to continue driving up to 50 miles, as long as I stayed under 50 mph. I followed this guidance very cautiously, driving under 30 mph. Despite this, the tire completely blew out in less than10 miles. The road co…
