25V325000 · Visibility:Rearview Mirrors/Devices:Interior

Reported: 2025-05-30 (May 30, 2025) · Model years: 2024

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2024 GLE 350 4MATIC, 2025 GLE 450e 4MATIC, GLE 450 4MATIC Coupe, GLE 450 4MATIC, GLS 450 4MATIC, Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC, AMG GLE 53 4MATIC, AMG GLE 53 4MATIC Coupe, AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC Coupe, and AMG GLS 63 4MATIC vehicles. The multi-purpose camera and the rearview mirror may be insufficiently attached to the windshield and may detach.

Consequence: A detached mirror can reduce visibility for the driver. A detached camera can cause a loss of certain driving assistance systems, such as Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Brake Assist. Either of these situations can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the windshield and reinstall the multi-purpose camera and rearview mirror, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 27, 2025. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2025060001.

25V864000 · Seat Belts:Rear/Other

Reported: 2025-12-12 (December 12, 2025) · Model years: 2025, 2026

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2025-2026 GLE 350 4MATIC vehicles. The center rear seat belts may have been installed without the child seat protection function and fail to lock a child restraint properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection," and FMVSS number 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."

Consequence: In the event of a crash, an insufficiently restrained child has an increased risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the center rear seat belt assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 6, 2026. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning December 19, 2025. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2026010003.

26V199000 · Air Bags:Passenger Side Frontal:Cushion

Reported: 2026-03-27 (March 27, 2026) · Model years: 2026

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2026 GLE 350 4MATIC, GLE 450 4MATIC, GLE 350, GLE 580 4MATIC, GLS 580 4MATIC, GLE 450 E 4MATIC, AMG GLE53 4MATIC, AMG GLS63 4MATIC, AMG GLE63 S 4MATIC, GLS 450 4MATIC, and GLS 600 4MATIC vehicles. The passenger air bag fabric may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can cause the air bag not to deploy as intended.

Consequence: Air bags that do not deploy as intended during a crash increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the passenger air bag module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 12, 2026. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning April 3, 2026.

Reported: 2026-05-29 (May 29, 2026) · Model years: 2026

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2026 AMG GLS 63 4MATIC+, AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ COUPE, AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+, AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ COUPE, AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+, GLE 450 4MATIC COUPE, GLE 350 4MATIC, Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC, GLS 580 4MATIC, GLS 450 4MATIC, GLE 580 4MATIC, GLE 450E 4MATIC, GLE 450 4MATIC, and GLE 350 vehicles. The bolts for the rear seat belts may not be tightened properly.

Consequence: A loose seat belt may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will tighten the rear seat belt bolts and replace any missing bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 17, 2026. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on June 5, 2026.

On multiple occasions, the vehicle has unexpectedly lost acceleration while driving. Specifically, while traveling on the highway, the vehicle will suddenly drop speed and fail to respond when pressing the accelerator. On July 7, 2026, my 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 experienced a serious engine malfunction. After stopping at a traffic light, the engine began shaking violently and idling roughly. In most circumstances the adaptive cruise control (ADC) works well. There is one case where it does not, however. When ADC is active and the vehicle immediately in front shows, perhaps to make a turn, the ADC-equipped vehicle slows appropriately. The problem: Once the front vehicle is *well clear* of the driving lane, often operating 90 degrees to the marked lane on a perpendicular roadway, the ADC-equipped vehicle delays in sensing this and dos not resume the set speed. On multiple occasions, the vehicle has unexpectedly lost acceleration while driving. Specifically, while traveling on the highway, the vehicle will suddenly drop speed and fail to respond when pressing the accelerator. This creates a dangerous situation, as I am unable to maintain speed with surrounding traffic, increasing the risk of a collision. This issue appears to occur without warning and significantly impacts the safe operation of the vehicle. A sudden loss of power on a high-speed roadway is extremely hazardous and poses a risk to bot…

In most circumstances the adaptive cruise control (ADC) works well. There is one case where it does not, however. When ADC is active and the vehicle immediately in front shows, perhaps to make a turn, the ADC-equipped vehicle slows appropriately. On July 7, 2026, my 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 experienced a serious engine malfunction. After stopping at a traffic light, the engine began shaking violently and idling roughly. When the traffic light turned green, the vehicle accelerated extremely slowly and had very little power, making it difficult to clear the intersection. The engine continued running roughly, and I was concerned the vehicle could stall in active traffic. At the same time, the ECO start/stop system automatically disabled itself and displayed "OFF" in white on the instrume…

I am submitting this complaint regarding my Mercedes-Benz GLE350 with VIN [XXX] . I have brought the vehicle in for service on multiple occasions, October, January, March, May, and November, due to recurring transmission-related issues. These issues include jerking, delayed acceleration, and irregular shifting. Each time, the dealer did not confirm a definitive fault but performed software updates or adaptations. While the symptoms temporarily disappeared, they repeatedly returned. I am concerned that the root cause remains unresolved, and I see…

I purchased my Mercedes-Benz new, and it currently has only 1,800 miles on it. My wife primarily drives the car, and we have experienced several alarming incidents where the vehicle suddenly shuts down while driving. 1.About two weeks after we purchased the car, it stalled at a stop sign. At the time, we ignored it. 2.On two separate occasions afterward, the vehicle suddenly slowed down and stopped while she was driving on the highway. 3.Most recently, two days ago, while driving to work early in the morning on the freeway, the car suddenly sto…
