This is the same issue seen on, but VIN number isn't apart of it: Campaign No. : 2022030003 CA DMV. : 220303 NHTSA ID 21V961 I have taken the vehicle to a Mercedes dealer twice for the concern of smelling gas. The second time I had a video but the service tech couldn't replicate the leak. This safety concern pose a great risk as the gas could come into contact with a hot surface and ignite but passenger at HIGH risk. The problem has taken to the dealer twice with v…

When coming into the proximity of devices along the highway that transmit radio/communication signals, message appears with several indicator symbols illuminated, “Temporarily Unavailable-Sensors are Dirty”. None of the ADAS functions work until you stop and restart the engine, or sometimes will return in a few 3-5 minutes or it may be an hour if you don’t restart the car. The dealer is aware this is a problem with Merc Benz but has no solution. Besides being a nuisance this can be very dangerous if assuming systems are working.

The contact stated while driving 25 MPH with his wife in the front passenger's seat, the Forward Collision Avoidance: Automatic Emergency Braking system engaged and the vehicle stopped abruptly, causing both the contact and his wife to be propelled forward. The contact stated that there were no other vehicles or pedestrians around the vehicle prior to the failure. The contact was able to continue driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the computer did not …

My Mercedes GLS 580 has a soft-close doors feature. Upon getting my 2 year old out of the car, he pushes the door closed with his left hand while his right hand was between the front driver side door and the rear driver side door. I, his father, was standing right next to the rear door. The door does not close all the way because his fingers were in between the two doors. Then the soft close pulls the door closed crushing his fingers. To make it worse, I try to open the door but the system prevented me from opening it until the door was cl…

The suspension has failed despite changing engine mounts. It is available for inspection if needed. I also believe there is Premature wear of the front struts and rear shock absorbers. This can affect vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash. There were no warning lamps and it has been inspected by various mechanics including Mercedes
