TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 LANCE VINTAGE (NA). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS EXPERIENCING OXIDATION FAILURE. THE BRAKING SYSTEM WAS RUSTING, AS WELL AS AROUND THE MOTOR AND THE MECHANICAL AREA IN THE STEERING. THE MANUFACTURER REFUSED TO ASSIST. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY WOULD CORRECT THE FAILURE. TWO MONTHS LATER, THE DEALER STATED THAT SINCE THE FAILURE WAS COSMETIC, THEY WOULD NOT COVER THE DEFECTS. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 900.

PREMATURE ENGINE FAILURE, 2004 MOTOR GUZZI BREVA 750 SERVICE TECH INDICATED THAT IT APPEARED TO BE CAUSED BY MANUFACTURING DEFECT. *BF THE CONSUMER STATED HE PRIMARILY RODE THE MOTORCYCLE ON SHORT TRIPS 50 MILES OR LESS OR AROUND HIS HOME.
