8 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.

10V447000 · Service Brakes, Hydraulic:Power Assist:Vacuum

Reported: 2010-10-01 (October 1, 2010) · Model years: 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010

A CHECK VALVE OF THE BRAKE VACUUM PUMP MAY LEAK A SMALL AMOUNT OF LUBRICATING OIL. OVER TIME THIS COULD RESULT IN CONTAMINATION OF THE BRAKE BOOSTER.

Consequence: POWER ASSIST BRAKING PERFORMANCE COULD BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED. IN EXTREME CASES THERE COULD BE A COMPLETE LOSS OF POWER ASSIST BRAKING. AN UNEXPECTED REDUCTION OR LOSS IN POWER BRAKING ASSIST MAY INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy: ROLLS-ROYCE WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND DEALERS WILL REPAIR THE VEHICLES FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 19, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT ROLLS-ROYCE AT 1-877-877-3735.

13V047000 · Fuel System, Gasoline:Storage:Tank Assembly:Filler Pipe And Cap

Reported: 2013-02-07 (February 7, 2013) · Model years: 2013

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is recalling certain model year 2013 Phantom vehicles manufactured from November 2, 2012, through January 18, 2013. The fuel filler necks may be missing the anti-misfueling devices. The devices prevent misfueling and discharge static electricity.

Consequence: Without the anti-misfueling device, there is an increased risk of fire from static electricity.

Remedy: Rolls-Royce is presently contacting all affected owners. Dealers will inspect the gas tank and replace any affected fuel filler necks, free of charge. The recall began in early February 2013. Owners may contact Rolls-Royce at 1-877-877-3735.

15V787000 · Air Bags:Side/Window

Reported: 2015-11-23 (November 23, 2015) · Model years: 2015, 2016

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Rolls-Royce Phantom vehicles manufactured May 22, 2015, to September 23, 2015. The affected vehicles have left and right side curtain air bags that may not have been manufactured properly.

Consequence: As a result of the improper manufacturing, the air bags may not position themselves as intended during deployment, increasing the risk of occupant injury in the event of a vehicle crash.

Remedy: Rolls-Royce will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the side curtain air bags, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on January 16, 2016. Owners may contact Rolls-Royce customer relations at 1-877-877-3735.

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Devices."

Consequence: Improperly illuminated road signs may be difficult for the driver to read, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the headlights, free of charge. The affected vehicles are still at dealerships and therefore no owner notification letters will be mailed. Owners may contact Rolls-Royce customer service at 1-877-877-3735.

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
