Owner report 11711481 · 2026-01-16 (January 16, 2026)

The 2026 toyota suddenly accelerated when pulling into a handicap space. Suddenly the vehicle jumped the concrete barrier and sidewalk and hit a building. The airbags did not deploy and the seat belts came off as normal. The building was not damaged but my wife sustained a shoulder injury and whiplash. The vechicle was towed from the scene and is at Collison Center where the collison occurred. Note: 2026 is when all electronic components were engineered into the vehicle. The vehicle has not been started since the accident. The outcome c…

Owner report 11739949 · 2026-05-25 (May 25, 2026)

I am reporting an issue with the driver seat in my 2026 Toyota Camry. The seat exhibits abnormal movement, shifting, instability, and popping sensations in the seatback area during normal driving conditions. The issue feels like looseness or movement of internal seat components and creates a distraction and potential safety concern while operating the vehicle. I brought the vehicle to a Toyota dealership for inspection. The dealership acknowledged the issue and opened a TAS (Technical Assistance System) case with Toyota Motor Corporation. An a…

Owner report 11724907 · 2026-03-17 (March 17, 2026)

The remedy to fix the current recall is taking absurdly long. I have driven a car previously in which there was a sudden loss of power and the risk to myself and other drivers is very dangerous. I just purchased this car in Nov. and the recall was soon after. I am very disappointed in this lack of urgency in finding a remedy. I purchased this car for my teen daughter to drive - what a mark on the safety of Toyotas name. There should be an investigation as to why the remedy is not being rushed as, again a lack of power and/or risk of fire on a b…

The vehicle experienced a safety-related issue involving the hybrid system, which may cause sudden loss of power while driving. This issue is associated with a manufacturer recall (Toyota campaign 25TB15). Due to the risk of power loss, the vehicle was deemed unsafe to drive. The vehicle was taken to a dealership for repair, where the issue was confirmed. However, no repair has been completed. The vehicle has remained at the dealership for over 3 months without a confirmed repair timeline. This creates a significant safety concern, as loss of…

IDENTICAL PROBLEMS AS RECENT RECALL FOR PRIUS AND LEXUS MODELS, BUT HADN'T HEARD MY MODEL BEING AFFECTED, SO I WANTED IT DOCUMENTED. THE BRAKES WORK ON THIS MODEL, BUT I ALWAYS HAD THE FEELING THAT I HAD TO PUSH THE BRAKE PEDAL MUCH HARDER THAN ANY OTHER CAR I HAD DRIVE TO GET THE SAME EFFECT. AND SO I OFTEN FIND MYSELF HAVING TO PUSH VERY HARD ON THE BRAKES AT THE LAST MINUTE TO AVOID A COLLISION (I HAVEN'T HAD ONE YET) BECAUSE WHAT I THINK IS NORMAL PRESSURE ON THE BRAKES ISN'T CUTTING IT. I THOUGHT THIS MIGHT ALL BE IN MY HEAD UNTIL I SAW…

I was driving up a steep driveway inside a parking garage. While turning a corner, the accelerator pedal began pulling away from my foot, and the car started speeding up on its own. I managed to apply the brake to stop the vehicle. I checked to see if there was anything near the pedal, like a mat, but there wasn’t. No indicator lights were on. This is the first time the car has exhibited this issue. The vehicle has not yet been inspected but is available for inspection.

I purchased a Toyota camry 2026 on January 5th 2026. After a week of driving the vehicle. I noticed it was sliding around & having a hard time stopping on my way home from work. One night going up a hill. I had to stop at a red light. When it turned green I tried to proceed. The tires just spun out I couldn't go any further. I had to turn around & go a different way. It's was only cold out no snow on the ground yet. A couple days later in the burger King drive thru. I had my son in the car. I was going less than 10mph. The vehicle wouldn't stop…

Toyota is putting people who purchased their new vehicles at risk. They have my car sitting here with an extraordinarily dangerous recall which they promised to fix by march but they haven't & it is already nearly June. It literally says the car can blow up. The recall says there's a belt problem & it can blow up at certain speeds & it can be fatal. That is crazy. if they cant fix it then they should recall the entire car & give us our money back so we can buy something safe. This is insane already

This is a manufacturer safety recall (NHTSA #25V869) for a loose bolt inside the hybrid inverter that could cause loss of motive power or a vehicle fire. The vehicle was sold to me as new with the recall already open and unrepaired. As of this date, Toyota has not made the remedy available, more than 6 months after the recall was announced. I am concerned about driving the vehicle given the fire/power-loss risk described in the official recall notice.

While actively moving at highway speeds on July 13, 2026, the vehicle suffered an instantant, total loss of all 12V electrical auxiliary power.
