I have been noticing since the beginning to middle of March 2022 the truck has been stalling while driving. It has happened 4 times since that time. Twice while in traffic and twice while driving on the highway. You have to come to a complete stop, put the vehicle in park and start the vehicle again. One time it happened we were almost rear ended by a semi truck driving behind us. Along with that, the Air Bag malfunction light has been coming on and off every few days. The fuel gauge has been showing all different fuel amounts as well every day…

Toyota has issued on previous Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) - T-SB-0111-22 - that Toyota states should resolve an issue with "Hesitation From Stop and Surge Concerns". According to Toyota, the 2022-2026 Tundra is compatible with 35x11.5 tires. These tires were installed by the dealer before my purchase. However, during turns, the tires heavily rub against the sway bar. This issue may be specific to the TRD upgrade package, which includes an upgraded, thicker sway bar. After driving for just 500 miles, noticeable rub marks have developed on both sides of the sway bar and visible marks on the inside of the tire. Tire rubbing can lead to faster tire wear and may even cause the tire to break during operation if t…

When attempting to move forward from a stop, there is a momentary delay in the truck responding to stepping on the accelerator pedal. This is a real safety concern when attempting to pull into traffic, as the "dead spot" in the pedal occurs after the truck has already moved forward a few feet, leaving the front end of the truck out in the traffic lane. It appears to be related to the automatic transmission starting in 4th gear, as I can move the shift lever to manual shifting mode and start out in 2nd gear with no hesitation. Once moving I si…

There were no vehicles or other object in front of the vehicle that should have caused the automatic brake system to activate. This has been an ongoing problem with this vehicle. I have a 2022 Tundra that I purchased new. My current mileage is 18,500 and although my truck is part of the engine replacement recall that is not what I am complaining about, what I am complaining about is my front passenger window got stuck halfway open/closed and it's been sitting at the dealership for 2 weeks with no parts available to fix it (the cable snapped and motor burned out). Intermittent issue: When pressing the gas pedal, there is often a delay of 1 to 2 seconds, followed by an acceleration surge. This has created potentially hazardous conditions during otherwise routine traffic situations. The delay has resulted unpredictability and the surge has caused loss of control when on gravel surfaces.

When stopped at an intersection, whether for a stop sign, stop light, or waiting to turn, there are intermittent times when there is a very distinct lag or delay between when the gas pedal is pressed and the vehicle actually starting to move. As I said, this is intermittent and not an 'all the time' occurrence. However, when pulling out and crossing traffic, not knowing whether the vehicle is going to go or not is very disconcerting. Transmission or engine has a lag, or dead spot from a complete stop to acceleration, such as leaving a stop light. At times barely noticable, other times it seems the engine is going to die. Dangerous when pulling onto a busy street from a side street. Dealership says "unable to replicate" which is understandable, as it's somewhat intermittent.

The vehicle has a delay in the throttle in some situations immediately following a deceleration. For example, when braking onto a yielding on ramp to check for traffic while coming to a near stop then pressing the throttle there is an obvious lag. That second or so of lag often results in the tires spinning due to a spike in throttle. In more than one instance I've experienced it from a dead stop but this is not as common as a slow deceleration to a roll.

New 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid, 2000 miles, experienced a total system failure while driving, engine, Hybrid system, brake, parking brake etc. all systems failure causing a serious safety issue. Dealership called Toyota as diagnostics instructed them to. They want to replace computer but frankly they have no idea and are guessing making this vehicle completely unsafe as it can never be driven on a highway where another failure would likely cause injury or death. Dealers position is it's not their problem, it's Toyotas!!!

I was driving on Highway 98 at 76 miles an hour. A light came on the dash said engine is low on power. Then immediately the car said to get to the side of the road the engine had shut off. This was in the middle of a drive on the interstate. I almost got hit by a truck. With family in the car. I made an appointment at our local dealer for all the recalls and they canceled it last Friday due to their service force being sick. This almost got me and my son killed.

On 2022 - 2024 Toyota Tundra models, the vehicles are experiencing an issue where the fuel sensor will reset the digital and analog fuel displays back to showing a full tank without adding fuel to the tank. On my vehicle, the reset has been occurring around the 380 mile distance to empty level. I see numerous other reports about individuals experiencing the same issue. I believe this is a defect and could cause a vehicle to run out of gas without the driver expecting it.
