Recall history

3 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.

23V569000 · Electrical System

Reported: 2023-08-10 (August 10, 2023)

Alliance RV, LLC (Alliance) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Paradigm 295MK, 310RL, 340RL, 370FB, 382RK, 385FL, 390MP, and 395DS travel trailers. The breakaway switch and trailer brakes may not activate when needed due to an incorrectly wired breakaway switch.

Consequence: Incorrect wiring may prevent the emergency trailer brake from engaging when the trailer becomes detached, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will rewire the breakaway cable, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 20, 2023. Owners may contact Alliance customer service at 1-574-218-7165.

Consequence: Brakes that fail to engage when a tow vehicle detaches increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and correct the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2024. Owners may contact Alliance customer service at 1-574-218-7165.

We got the Morryde Independant Suspension (7K) installed in March, 2022. When I was at Morryde on 5/17/24 getting some basic maintenance done (alignment, tire rotation, balancing, bearings, shock replaced, etc.) Morryde found all four of my Kodiak disk brake caliper brackets had broken "tabs". After finalizing the purchase of a 2022 Alliance RV Paradigm 295MK trailer at Giant RV dealership in Colton California we started our drive home. After driving 2 hours and 80 miles, I was notified by a fellow driver on 101 freeway in Woodland Hills California that I should pull over something was wrong. When I was able to pull off the freeway safely and made a turn I saw a trail of water behind my trailer. Once I pulled over I saw that my freshwater holding tank had fallen and I was dragging it.

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison
