Recall history
3 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.
00V092000 · Fuel System, Gasoline:Delivery:Hoses, Lines/Piping, And Fittings
Reported: 2000-03-24 (March 24, 2000)
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. THE FUEL RETURN PIPE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT CAN WEAR THROUGH AS THE RESULT OF REPEATED CONTACT WITH THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD AS THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN. IF THE HOSE BECOMES DAMAGED, FUEL LEAKAGE COULD OCCUR.
Consequence: FUEL LEAKAGE IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE ROUTING OF THE FUEL RETURN LINE. IF NECESSARY, THE DEALER WILL REPOSITION THE HOSE OR REPLACE IT WITH A NEW HOSE IF IT WAS DAMAGED.
NHTSA campaign record ↗01V042000 · Fuel System, Gasoline:Delivery:Hoses, Lines/Piping, And Fittings
Reported: 2001-02-14 (February 14, 2001)
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. IMPROPERLY MANUFACTURED FUEL FEED AND RETURN HOSES WERE INSTALLED IN SOME OF THESE VEHICLES. THE POSITION OF THE CRIMP SECURING THE RUBBER HOSE MATERIAL TO THE STEEL QUICK RELEASE CONNECTION MAY HAVE BEEN IMPROPER. IF THE CRIMP IS NOT PROPERLY POSITION, FUEL LEAKAGE COULD OCCUR IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.
Consequence: IF AN IGNITION SOURCE IS PRESENT, THIS FUEL LEAKAGE COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE ALL FEED AND RETURN HOSES. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN FEBRUARY 20, 2001. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT ROLLS-ROYCE AT 1-248-340-6464.
NHTSA campaign record ↗02V187000 · Service Brakes, Hydraulic:Foundation Components:Hoses, Lines/Piping, And Fittings
Reported: 2002-07-15 (July 15, 2002)
ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES AND LIMOUSINES, THE LOW PRESSURE BRAKE FLUID FEED PIPE BETWEEN THE MASTER CYLINDER AND REMOTE RESERVOIR HAS THE POTENTIAL TO TRAP OR RETAIN AIR.
Consequence: THIS AIR COULD ENTER THE MASTER CYLINDER CAUSING EXCESSIVE PEDAL TRAVEL AND PARTIAL FAILURE OF THE PRIMARY CIRCUIT, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE BOTH HOSES AND BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN JULY 19, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT ROLLS-ROYCE AT 1-800-777-6923.

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
2008: 0 complaints · 2009: 0 complaints

Date coverage across each selected cohort
| Year | Incident dates used | Filing date fallbacks | Excluded dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2008 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 2009 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
Components reported together
