Our second row seat on the passenger side has a head rest that will not fold upright and lock into place. The seat itself is useless due to the headrest not folding up correctly and is a safety hazard for anyone to sit in it. I bought this vehicle for the purpose of having all available seats to be used for our family and now we have one seat that cannot be used. No matter how many times we tried to push it up or folding the seat all the way down and then back up it still does not lock into place on the headrest. We have did research and many p…

In the 2 years that I owned the van I have walked away from the car after a journey and accidentally left the van running 3 times and my mechanic has done it once. 2 of those times it was left running all night. Once it ran out of gas. It seems to happen when I am distracted. The safety issue is that the van has no warning system when this happens and there is a lot of carbon monoxide released into the air. It could be lethal in an enclosed area. Also, note that it is a push button start and I have the key fob with me when this happens, so the…

I was driving on a freeway. My car had no warning lights. Suddenly the dash lit up like a Christmas tree and the car lost all power. The engine was running, but the gas pedal was unresponsive. The transmission went to neutral. I was forced to coast to the side of the road. Luckily there was somewhere to go. Someone was trying to merge as I was slowing down. It was quite scary. Once the car stopped, it put it self into park and I was stuck. After about twenty minutes, the warning lights turned off and the car drove normally. This happened 3 more…

Recall history

2 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.

22V181000 · Seats:Mid/Rear Assembly

Reported: 2022-03-24 (March 24, 2022)

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Pacifica and 2021 Voyager vehicles. The second-row seat-to-floor mounting latch may bind and stick open, preventing the seat from properly securing to the floor. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 225, "Child Restraint Anchorage Systems."

Consequence: An unsecured seat increases the risk of injury in a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the second-row seat cushion frame, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 7, 2022. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US LLC's number for this recall is Z22.

Reported: 2024-10-24 (October 24, 2024)

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Pacifica and 2020-2021, 2023 Voyager vehicles. An improperly secured connector for the side curtain air bags may prevent the air bags from deploying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 214, "Side Impact Protection" and 226, "Ejection Mitigation."

Consequence: An air bag that does not deploy during a crash increases the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will secure the connector, free of charge. All vehicles have been remedied. Owner notification letters were mailed October 22, 2024. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is A8B.

I used to do business with this car but I can not now since we have this safety recall. I took the car to the dealer they said `it should not be problem to fix`. They kept the car for two days and changed my tire did nothing about the safety recall. I had to pay for the tires for a car I can not use. This is unacceptable, they literally played me.

We purchased this vehicle from a dealership in July 2024. I was turning left into a parking lot when my 2020 Voyager steering stopped working while it started to show all warning lights and the wipers went on, then it went dead, had to be towed on a flatbed to the dealership, and after 4 weeks with no solution in sight, I decided to bring it home and research the solution myself, The problem came from the CAN bus connector located above the glove box, any short or voltage fluctuation from the wires out of the can bus causes the car to go into panic mode, sometimes making the steering wheel stop steeri…

This van was converted by FR Conversion that is a ADA van outfitter, the rear ramp install covers the factory emergency release switch. The rear lift gate would not work automatically and there was no way to reach factory install emergency release trapping the client in the van. When buying a van they state this is a "add on" and not standard in their build outs. FMVSS 401does not cover vans, nor does NHTSA cover minivans in the emergency release/emergency exit. While drivng with the cruise control engaged and encountering a downhill speed increase of about 5 MPH, the transmission kicks down to engage engine breaking. However as the process starts, first the engine revs and will increase vehicle speed by about 5 MPH. An example is cruise set at 60, down hill increases speed to 65, engine rev results in 70 MPH speed requiring heavy braking to regain control. I have tested this without the cruise engaged by shifting from D to L and engaging the kickdown process and engine accelleration in an identical m…

I was driving in the highway and my steering became so stiff that I could barely turn the wheel. It wasn’t just stiff, It was almost impossible to make a turn unless I use all my strength and turn the wheel with both of my hands. . There is no way people should be driving these cars if the power steering can go down with no warning. I could’ve hit somebody and caused a …
