Owner report 11472156 · 2022-07-02 (July 2, 2022)
The rear brakes continually lose braking power. Have had them bled at the dealership, which they said should fix the issue. However it comes right back as I continue to ride my bike. This is dangerous because I have to rely completely on my front brakes, even in emergency situations. This can cause the bike to flip.

Owner report 11613828 · 2024-09-10 (September 10, 2024)

I pulled off the road and got off and discovered the rear brake like was on fire. The lines had melted and caught fire. Ducati had had a history of rear brake issues and I’ve found similar incidents on forums all over the internet. Bike is currently in the shop and Ducati dealer is blaming the issue on my riding or the aftermarket rear set. But a melt…

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
