Reported: 2026-04-23 (April 23, 2026)

REV Recreation Group (REV) is recalling certain 2026 Holiday Rambler Vacationer, Admiral, Fleetwood Flair, Fortis, and Bounder motorhomes. The furnace may create electrical signal that turns the generator on unexpectedly.

Consequence: A generator that operates in an enclosed space, such as a garage, increases the risk of injury or death from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside until the repair has been performed. Dealers will install a relay harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2026. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-800-322-8216. REV's number for this recall is 260422REV.

On [XXX], after arriving at our campground in Tok, Alaska, the main entry-door latch/handle on our 2023 Fleetwood Bounder motorhome failed completely. I parked the motorhome in front of the campground office. When I attempted to open the main entry door by lifting the door handle, the handle broke off and came completely into my hand. The door would no longer open. There were four people inside the motorhome, and none of us could open the main entry door. We were effectively trapped inside the RV through the primary entrance. Because we coul…

WE PURCHASED A 2018 BOUNDER 33C IN FEBRUARY OF 2018. THIS VEHICLE IS DANGEROUS AND POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATENING. AFTER PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE, WE LEARNED THE SUSPENSION WAS NOT ADEQUATE FOR THE AMOUNT OF WEIGHT AND THE HIGH CENTER OF GRAVITY WHEN MOVING, GIVING US THE FEELING THAT IT WOULD TIP OVER WHEN ROUNDING CURVES AND ON LOCAL ROADS WHERE IT WOULD ROCK BACK AND FORTH, TO THE EXTENT THAT WHEN MY WIFE FOLLOWED ME TO THE REPAIR SHOP, SHE WAS GREATLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE ROCKING BACK AND FORTH AND SAID SHE WAS WAITING FOR THE TIRES TO LIFT OF…

The contact owns a 2021 Fleetwood Bounder constructed on a 2020 Ford F59 Chassis. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V731000 (Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the nearest dealers were located nearly 200 to 300 miles away, which would require the contact to drive the RV over mountains to reach dealers. Additionally, the dealers refused to service any RVs. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair.…

Since new 14,500 miles ago when hitting road bumps or at speeds between 73-76 MPH the ABS & Traction Control lights come on. This causes lose of Anti-Lock Braking, Cruise Control, Hill Start Protection, & Stability Control. It has been back to Ford 5 times & not fixed. It was last to Rush Truck Center who replaced a damaged Tone Ring & Wheel Speed Sensor. Mine was the third one repaired in 2 weeks & all on the right rear. I just completed a 5,300 mile road trip & every day had these lights come on multiple times which required stopping shutting…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
