My 2022 Ford E-Transit 350 has had repeated safety and performance failures. The next day, the same failure occurred again and the van had to be towed. The dealer replaced the 12V battery without proper diagnosis and returned the vehicle with all warning lights still on. This is a Ford Palladium Van, year 2024, the secondary alternator charging circuit that Thor has installed has a lot of problems. Specifically, the alternator from Balmar fails and you cannot charge lithium batteries while the van is in motion. The whole point of the secondary alternator is to charge these batteries while in motion. Its a safety issue when traveling with children or pets because battery voltage drops if you have to run AC while in a store or something. You proceed down the road and the battery is not recharged. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison
