THIS AFTERNOON I RODE IN ABOUT 20 MPH WINDS AND IT WAS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. IT FELT LIKE I WAS RIDING ON ICE OR GLASS. ANY SLIGHT BURST OF WIND PUSHED MY MOTORCYCLE INTO A DANGEROUS LEAN. I FELT IT THE MOST WHILE TRAVELING AT SPEEDS BETWEEN 30 AND 45 MPH. I'VE RIDDEN MANY DIFFERENT MAKES OF MOTORCYCLES AND HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS. I DID NOT FEEL LIKE I HAD CONTROL AND EVEN HAD TO PULL OVER A FEW TIMES TO AVOID LOOSING COMPLETE CONTROL. *JB
I HAVE A 2006 VRSCD HARLEY DAVIDSON NIGHT ROD MOTORCYCLE. MY FUEL GAUGE NO LONGER WORKS AS OF MONDAY AUGUST 9, 2010. I HAVE HAD SPORADIC READINGS WHERE THE GAUGE WILL DROP TO A NO GAS READING TO A FULL GAS READING TO AN ACTUAL READING TO AN UN ACTUAL READING. THE GAUGE HAS NEVER STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY UNTIL YESTERDAY, MORE THAN 5 YEARS AFTER THE WARRANTY PERIOD EXPIRED. I HAVE TRIED TURNING THE BIKE ON AND OFF AND I GET A ZERO GAS READING AND ZERO GAS MOVEMENT FROM THE GAUGE. AGAIN, IT NO LONGER WORKS AND IS STUCK AT THE SAME LEVEL. MANY,…

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
