CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP, THEY CONTACTED MANUFACTURER. THEY WOULD NOT COVER IT, BUT CALLED WINDOW MANUFACTURER, AND THEY WOULD COVER ONLY THE LABOR AND HARDWARE. *AK

MY 2002 HOLIDAY RAMBLER 5TH WHEEL IS EQUIPPED WITH GOODYEAR WRANGLER HT LT225/75R/16 "E" SERIES TIRES WHICH ARE DATE STAMPED FEBRUARY 2000. THESE TIRES HAVE LESS THAN 2000 MILES TRAVEL. ON AUGUST 4TH 2005 ON A TRIP FROM BURLINGTON N.C. ABOUT TWENTY MILES FROM HOME TRAVELING AT 55 MPH ON I-85 I EXPERIENCED A BLOW OUT ON RIGHT REAR TRAILER TIRE . WE WERE FORTUNATE TO FIND AN AREA TO PULL OVER AND CHANGE TIRE. I REPLACED THIS TIRE AND FINISHED THE TRIP. AFTER A 300 MILE TRIP AND UPON ARRIVAL HOME I DISCOVERED A TREAD BULDGE ON RIGHT FRONT TRAILER …

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 HOLIDAY RAMBLER ADMIRAL. THE MODEL WAS NOT LISTED IN THE DROP DOWN MENU AT THE TIME OF THIS COMPLAINT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE STATIONARY WINDOW CONTAINS MOISTURE IN BETWEEN THE GLASS. THE FAILURE PREVENTS THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE FROM BEING ABLE TO SEE THE MIRROR. THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED BY A DEALER WHO STATED THAT THE GLASS HAD A LEAK AND SHOULD BE REPLACED. THE ENGINE SIZE AND # OF CYLINDERS WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 26,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 25,000.

Reported: 2001-10-22 (October 22, 2001)

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTOR HOMES WITH STANDARD 19" TELEVISIONS. THE MOTOR HOMES MAY NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT MOUNTING HARDWARE TO SECURE THE STANDARD 19" TELEVISION TO THE CABINET PROPERLY.

Consequence: UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, THE TELEVISION COULD FALL OUT OF THE CABINET, POSSIBLY INJURING AN OCCUPANT.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REMOVE THE ORIGINAL CABINET AND INSTALL A REVISED CABINET ASSEMBLY. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN OCTOBER 18, 2001. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT MONACO AT 1-800-685-6545.

02V151000 · Electrical System:12v/24v/48v Battery:Cables

Reported: 2002-06-03 (June 3, 2002)

ON CERTAIN CLASS C MOTOR HOMES, THE BATTERY CABLE IS ROUTED IN A LOCATION THAT ALLOWS EXPOSURE TO HIGH EXHAUST MANIFOLD TEMPERATURES, WHICH COULD DAMAGE THE CABLES.

Consequence: AN ELECTRICAL SHORT COULD OCCUR, POTENTIALLY RESULTING IN A FIRE.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE CABLES FOR DAMAGE AND LOCATION WITHIN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. SHOULD DAMAGE BE PRESENT, THE CABLES WILL BE REPLACED. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN JULY 29, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT MONACO AT 1-800-685-6545.

04V016000 · Seats

Reported: 2004-01-06 (January 6, 2004)

CERTAIN MOTORHOMES FAIL TO COMPLY WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NOS. 207, "SEATING SYSTEMS" AND 210, "SEAT BET ASSEMBLY ANCHORAGES." THE BOLT AND LOCK NUT CONNECTING THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEATS TO THE SLIDE TRACK WERE NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT HARDWARE WAS ALSO USED TO SECURE THE SEAT PEDESTAL TO THE FLOOR MOUNTS.

Consequence: IN SOME CRASH CONDITIONS, INCORRECT INSTALLATION COULD ALLOW THE DRIVER AND/OR PASSENGER SEAT PEDESTAL/FRAME TO BECOME LOOSE, WHICH COULD RESULT IN DEATH OR INJURY TO THE SEAT OCCUPANT.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A NEW BOLT AND LOCK NUT TO THE PEDESTAL MOUNT. OWNER NOTIFICAITON BEGAN JANUARY 21, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT MONACO AT 1-877-466-6226.

THIS HAPPENED FIVE SIX TIMES AND AGAIN LAST WEEK, THERE WAS NOT MUCH LOST AT THE FILLING STATION. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN HOME,IT WAS STILL LEAKING.
