School buses. We have a fleet of these and the condition is happening repeatedly and to almost every bus with this PSI brand 8.8L gasoline engine. The engine exhaust downpipes melt from excessive heat and/or fuel. The pipes then crack and produce an exhaust leak near the body firewall. Potential for exhaust and flame to escape from the pipe.

We purchased (6) 2025 IC School buses and we are having entrance door issues. They are air powered doors and Rush Trucks in Akron cannot get the air regulated to close properly. They turn up the air so that the door closes, the doors then slam very hard that may cause injury if student is close to the door. If the air is turned down, the doors do nut shut properly causing issues with the student crossing lights which then sounds an alarm and the lights do not function properly causing the lights to not activate when crossing students. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
