Owner report 11722369 · 2026-03-05 (March 5, 2026)
Incident Summary: I am reporting a recurring and dangerous failure of the vehicle’s lane-keeping/automated steering system. The vehicle provides unprompted, forceful steering inputs that fight the driver’s control, creating an immediate risk of high-speed collisions. Incident 1 (I-5 North): Traveling at 70 mph in the right-hand lane. Every few minutes, the vehicle initiated an unprompted steer to the left. I had to physically fight the steering wheel to maintain center and avoid a crash. The behavior only ceased when I moved to the left-hand l…

Owner report 11757309 · 2026-08-16 (August 16, 2026)
The vehicle is equipped with multiple safety monitoring systems. One of these systems is the lane departure correction. Unlike a gentle reminder as on most other vehicles, this vehicle applies on brake to force the vehicle in the opposite direction. This correction is violent. A new driver to this vehicle can try to compensate for this abrupt movement of the vehicle, overcompensating to a dangerous degree. The manufacturer is aware of this issue, along with numerous other safety systems issues. The vehicle constantly provides alerts for multipl…

At that exact spot, there is a rubber bumper secured with cloth tape on those brake lines, and when the acid soaks into the cloth tape, the tape serves to hold the acid directly against the brake lines. Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
No selected model years have a complete observation window. Choose an eligible year or a shorter window.
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
