2 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.
23V017000 · Electrical System:Adas:Driver Monitoring:Camera/Sensor | Forward Collision Avoidance: Automatic Emergency Braking | Electronic Stability Control (Esc) | Service Brakes, Air:Antilock:Control Unit/Module
Reported: 2023-01-23 (January 23, 2023)
Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Isuzu NQR, NRR, 2022 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward (LCF) 5500HD, 2022-2023 Chevrolet LCF 5500XD, and 2023 Hino S52 vehicles. When the vehicles were modified to extend the frame to a 200-inch or 212-inch wheelbase, the ABS module and if equipped, optional ADAS Camera, were not recalibrated to account for the stretched frame.
Consequence: An improperly calibrated ADAS camera and ABS module can result in the Automatic Emergency Braking System (AEB) and Electronic Steering Control System (ESC) not functioning properly, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will recalibrate the ADAS camera and ABS module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 17, 2023. Owners may contact Isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638. Isuzu's number for this recall is V2301.
NHTSA campaign record ↗23V564000 · Electrical System:Ignition:Coil | Electrical System:Wiring:Fuses And Circuit Breakers
Reported: 2023-08-10 (August 10, 2023)
Isuzu Motors Limited (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2023-2024 NPR Gas, NPR HD Gas, 2024 NQR Gas, NRR Gas, 2023-2024 Chevrolet LCF 3500HG, Chevrolet LCF 4500HG, 2024 Chevrolet LCF 5500HG, and Chevrolet LCF 5500XG vehicles. The chassis harness may have an incorrectly sized wire seal for the 2 externally mounted engine ignition coil pack fuse holders, which can allow water intrusion and cause the fuses to corrode.
Consequence: Corrosion of the ignition coil pack fuses can cause a misfire and loss of engine power, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace both engine ignition coil pack fuse holder assemblies, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed out January 30, 2024. Owners may contact Isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638. Isuzu's number for this recall is V2305.

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
2022: 1 complaints · 2023: 0 complaints

Date coverage across each selected cohort
| Year | Incident dates used | Filing date fallbacks | Excluded dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2022 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
| 2023 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
