On or around 7/02/2022, while on a trip out to the black hills, during a stop I noticed a crack had formed in the side wall of the Keystone coach. After some investigation, this appears to be a known issues with Keystone fifth wheels as indicated by the Keystone KSB -180328 Sidewall Crack Repair instructions. Over the past year, I have had varying responses from Camping World, my extended Warranty company and Keystone about the issue. Upon attempting to leave campground at approximately 10am on April 19, 2025, unplugged electrical from RV and switched over to gas. The Norcold refrigerator caught fire within minutes of the switch over (apparently in the amount of time it took the gas to travel from the tanks to the fridge). Fortunately, I was able to disconnect the gas hoses from the tanks immediately upon noticing the flames and we were able to douse the fire with extinguishers. However, the RV has suffered some damage to the vents, and the fridge is fried. There was also a…

16V908000 · Structure:Body:Door:Hinge And Attachments
Reported: 2016-12-16 (December 16, 2016)
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain model year 2017 Keystone Carbon and Raptor fifth wheel recreational trailers, and 2016-2017 Fuzion and Dutchmen Voltage fifth wheel recreational trailers. The affected vehicles have rear cargo door hinges with welds on the hinge pin and hinge plate that may be insufficient, and as a result, the top of the door may swing down with more force than normal.
Consequence: If the door does not open as expected, there would be an increased risk of injury to those in the door's path.
Remedy: Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will replace the ramp door hinge, free of charge. The recall began on January 13, 2017. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 16-274.

Reported: 2017-05-12 (May 12, 2017)
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Raptor fifth-wheel recreational trailers, model 428SP. The affected trailers have tires that may contact the outriggers.
Consequence: Tire contact with the outriggers may result in tire damage, possibly causing a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Keystone has notified owners, and dealers will cut a notch in the bottom side of the outriggers located above the tires on the door side of the unit, free of charge. The recall began on May 18, 2017. Owners may contact Keystone Customer Service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 17-287.

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling various 2003-2018 Crossroads, Dutchmen, and Keystone recreational trailers equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V755-5127.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. Consequence: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Keystone will notify owners and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018.
