1. FIRE BEHIND FURNACE PANELING 8:30 AM MST I NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE FURNACE PANEL. I SHUT DOWN THE FURNACE AND OPENED THE FURNACE PANEL. UPON OPENING, I DISCOVERED THE LINOLEUM BURNING IN A SIX INCH DIAMETER OVAL AREA. I EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. EXAMINATION SHOWED THE FURNACE FEEDS THE DUCT SYSTEM UNDER THE FLOOR BY MEANS OF A HOLE IN THE FLOOR THAT IS SUPPOSED TO ALIGN WITH THE FURNACE CHAMBER HOLE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 KEYSTONE RAPTURE TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FAILED AND A BURNING SMELL EMERGED FROM THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT. IN ADDITION, THE TRANSFER CASE WIRES WERE FOUND TO BE BURNED. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 KEYSTONE RAPTOR. WHILE REMOVING THE BRAKE AWAY BRAKE PIN, A FIRE STARTED IN THE MODULE WHERE THE PIN WAS BEING REMOVED. THE CONTACT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE AND CUT THE WIRES TO THE PIN TO PREVENT ANOTHER FIRE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN INSPECTED AT THE TIME OF THE COMPLAINT. Component failed: while traveling at 65 mph on [XXX] the black tank (waste tank) fell from its mounting brackets and hitting the road way. At the time approximately 10 gallons on clean water was in the tank. No warning or way to know it dislodged from its brackets. I was flagged down by a passing motorist. Owner report 11440037 · 2021-11-10 (November 10, 2021)

The contact owns a 2021 Keystone Raptor RV. The contact stated while operating the vehicle, there was an abnormal fuel odor inside the RV. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the fuel lines from the generator to the fuel tank had contacted the axle causing a failure to the lines and causing fuel to leak. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure and the contact received parts to repair the failure. The repair was performed however, the failure reoccurred. The failure mileage was 3,000.

After some investigation, this appears to be a known issues with Keystone fifth wheels as indicated by the Keystone KSB -180328 Sidewall Crack Repair instructions.
