Recall history
1 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.
22V615000 · Equipment:Other:Labels | Tires
Reported: 2022-08-10 (August 10, 2022)
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Lexus) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Lexus RC F vehicles. The tire information label does not list the vehicle's weight capacity. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Consequence: The vehicle can be overloaded without the weight capacity information, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the tire information label, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 25, 2022. Owners may contact Lexus' customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Lexus' number for this recall is 22LA03.

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
2021: 0 complaints · 2022: 0 complaints

Date coverage across each selected cohort
| Year | Incident dates used | Filing date fallbacks | Excluded dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2021 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 2022 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
