Purchased a brand new Lexus RX 350h on April 28, 2023. Within 2-3 weeks, the vehicle started issuing alerts that parts of the ADAS were malfunctioning, and therefore the vehicle was disabling the entire ADAS. This warning would come on while driving, and even after clearing the warning, it would pop back up within seconds. Took the new car to the dealer over 4 weeks ago to have this addressed, and they still can't figure out how to replace the faulty part and reprogram the vehicle. This is a brand new car with only about 1,000 miles on it. The …

On Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, while driving on the highway, my sunroof exploded. It sounded like a gun shot. I drove it to the place I bought my Lexus, in March, called Sewell Lexus Dallas. They gave me a rental and said they would have their technicians look at it. They called me on Monday and said their technicians decide it wasn't a manufacture defect, but they couldn't tell me of any evidence to why or what might have caused it. Furthermore, they suggested I report it to my insurance, and it would cost $4000.00 to replace. This is dangerous…

I recently purchased this vehicle new from Spokane Lexus. Come to find out there are no provisions for a tow hook front or rear. In the owners manual it clearly shows that there is a cover plate in the front grille that is removed to accomodate the eyebolt that is stored in the tool kit next to the spare tire. My vehicle does not have either of these, even though there is a molded place, next to the spare tire, to accomodate the eyebolt. On Saturday, June 3, 2023, I noticed that the interior dashboard trim has become separated. I could (can) see the plastic clips and some exposed wiring. 25V040000 · Air Bags:Frontal:Driver Clockspring/Spiral Cassette | Steering:Column

Reported: 2025-01-29 (January 29, 2025)

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2023 Toyota Corolla, Corolla Cross, Corolla Cross Hybrid, Highlander, Highlander Hybrid, Tacoma, Lexus RX350, 2023-2024 NX250, and NX350 vehicles that may have been incorrectly repaired under previous NHTSA recall number 23V-480. An electrical connection inside the steering column's spiral cable assembly may be insufficiently welded, causing the connection to separate and deactivate the driver's air bag. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Consequence: A deactivated driver's air bag will not deploy as intended, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the spiral cable assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 17, 2025. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's number for this recall is 25TA02. Lexus' number for this recall is 25LA02.

I was involved in a side collision accident and my car was determined to be total loss by the At-Fault's insurance company. I was lucky that my son and I came out with bruises and a few scratches but the main problem here is the airbags. It DID NOT deploy at all when it was hit. The force hit us from lane 1 all the way to lane 3 and damages to the structure near cabin was found by one of the vertified accident body shop. So yes, no airbags were deployed.

I have taken the car 3 times to the Lexus in Freehold NJ when I first bought it to fix this i…
