We are the owners of a 2023 Lexus RZ450e Luxury, a fully electric vehicle. My wife and I rely on the Lexus app (on our Android devices) to monitor essential details such as remaining miles, charging percentage, and the overall status of the vehicle. These features are vital to ensure we have sufficient charge before driving. However, as of Monday, October 14th, the app has stopped displaying this crucial information. Instead, it shows “-1 mi. est” and “-1 %,” (minus one percent!) and the status bar has disappeared entirely. Please refer to the …

The charger fails to charge. Nothing happens when it is plugged into the vehicle. The dealer has confirmed the vehicle can be fully charged using the dealer’s level 2 charger. I am able to fully charge the vehicle using the level 1 charger supplied with the vehicle. Enel X Way has discontinued support. I have had my 2023 RZ450e for two years and at 53,000 miles, the driver side daytime running light went out. Another owner on a Facebook Lexus RZ450e group reported the same identical thing happening to them in October 2024. With the headlight assembly being LED, these should not fail early on in ownership and should last quite a while. My vehicle has been inspected by Lexus dealership at the service intervals, most recently May 8, 2025 and there was no mention of DRL on driver side being out from the service advisor. No warnings were available…
I was driving at 45 mph during a sunny day with normal traffic flow. The right rear tire had suddenly exploded. It almost caused a major accident. Upon inspection, the tire was totally blew out. Only the rim was left. The tire expert at Northside Lexus dealer in Houston said he had seen hundreds of blow out tires on Lexus like that. He didn't want to alert NHTSA. The tires were made by Dunlop in 2023. My car had only 20,000 miles on it. Please consider to recall this kind of Dunlop Sport Maxx tires before another accident or fatality happens.…

25V577000 · Visibility:Defroster/Defogger/Hvac System
Reported: 2025-09-04 (September 4, 2025)
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2023-2025 bZ4X, Lexus RZ, and Subaru Solterra vehicles. During certain HVAC system faults, such as electrical compressor failure, the defroster and defogger system may become inoperative.
Consequence: An inoperative defroster and defogger system can decrease the driver's visibility under certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the HVAC control ECU software, free of charge. Dealers will also inspect the electrical compressor, and replace it, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 17, 2025. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB07 and 25TA07. Lexus' numbers for this recall are 25LB04 and 25LA04. Subaru's number for this recall is WRD-25.
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru Solterra vehicles equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) system. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. A software error may cause the rearview camera to freeze or display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Consequence: A rearview camera that fails to display an image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the parking assist software, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 2, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB13 and 25LB06. Subaru's number for this recall is WRE25.

While operating my 2025 Lexus RZ 300e at normal road speeds, the vehicle experienced a sudden and dangerous propulsion loss when the traction battery reached 0% state of charge. The only advance notice was a single soft audible alert. Within seconds of the single alert, the vehicle entered reduced-power “limp mode,” creating an immediate traffic hazard. This abrupt reduction in spe…
The Component Affected: Electrical System / Drivetrain Propulsion. The Core Hazard: Systemic software/hardware defect causing a total failure of the 12V auxiliary system, resulting in immediate vehicle blackouts and leaving the vehicle stranded without warning. The Safety Risk: The vehicle leaves passengers and young children completely stranded in high-traffic or unsafe environments. Note that this platform is heavily affected by the active June 18, 2026 electrical system shutdown recall (NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V393), and the unresolved 12…

Incident one: I was locked out of my car and needed to call Lexus roadside assistance for help. The technician struggled with the mechanical override to open the car, but was able to force it eventually. He explained the 12V battery was dead. There was nothing left on that would have drained the battery. Incident two: The following week, I was able to enter the vehicle and turn it partially on but was not able to drive the car and after I turned off the power, I was trapped in the vehicle. Lexus roadside assistance came again and jump-sta…
