Reported: 2025-11-17 (November 17, 2025)

Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Twist, Dazzle, 2023 Tranquility, Sanctuary, 2022-2024 Tellaro, Sequence, and 2024 Freedom Elite Van recreational vehicles. The solar panel mounting brackets may become loose or break allowing the solar panel to detach.

Consequence: A detached solar can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and install missing washers, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 12, 2026. Another notice will be sent once the remedy becomes available. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000336.

I am the owner of a Thor Sequence 20K RV built on a 2022 Ram ProMaster 3500 chassis, purchased new in Florida. My vehicle Vin [XXX] is subject to safety recall # 25V-720 involving a potential engine fire- compartment fire risk. There is no repair or remedy currently available and no timeline has been provided by the manufacturer. Because of the fire risk, the vehicle is unsafe to operate. In addition the open safety recall has rendered the vehicle unsellable and untradeable, causing substantial loss of value and use through no fault of my ow…

WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT HIGHWAY SPEED (I-90 ACROSS MONTANA AND DAKOTAS), THROUGH WINDY WEATHER, THE ROOF MOUNTED WINDOW WOULD POP OPEN AND BEGIN FLAPPING IN THE WIND. THE LATCHING MECHANISM GETS PULLED APART DURING THE WIND GUSTS ALLOWING THE WINDOW TO OPEN BY ITSELF. THIS IS DUE TO THE BAR HANDLE ON THE LATCH FLEXING ENOUGH TO POP OUT OF ITS TRACK ALLOWING THE LATCH MECHANISM TO RELEASE.

The contact owns a 2022 Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20K RV. The contact stated that the skid plate to protect the alternator had the incorrect OEM bolt size and was also missing bolts to secure the alternator. The dealer was made aware of the failure; however, the contact realigned the skid plate and replaced the bolts with the correct size by himself. The RV was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10,500.

Thor Sequences RV: The roof top solar that was installed by Thor Motorcoach flew off of the RV roof while I was driving on [XXX] in downtown Columbus, Ohio. I thought something fell out of a cabinet when I heard a thud. I exited [XXX] on [XXX], and a Central Ohio Transit Authority van driver told something flew off the roof of the RV. I parked and inspected the vehicle and discovered the solar panel was missing. I drove to Mark Wahlberg Air Stream where I purchased the camper van and reported the issue. The staff in maintenance showed me two s…

Since purchase in April 2022, driver seat has side to side and up/down movement which is not part of the design, and appears to be unstable and potential safety hazard for driving. This movement does not occur in the similar swivel style passenger seat. Dealership stated seat issues would be repaired under warranty from Thor. Multiple repair attempts were made by authorized service provider (dealership) addressing other seat issues (not adjusting or rotating properly as designed), but excessive play in the seat still exists. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
