Recall history

4 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.

20V703000 · Equipment

Reported: 2020-11-13 (November 13, 2020)

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021 Revel, Vista, Sunstar, and Adventurer Motorhomes. The power bed motor may experience an internal gear failure, causing the bed to extend prior to the safety strap engaging.

Consequence: A bed that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury or death.

Remedy: Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will replace the power bed motor, free of charge. The recall began December 16, 2020. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 164.

24V295000 · Equipment:Appliance:Oven/Stove/Cooktop | Equipment:Electrical

Reported: 2024-04-26 (April 26, 2024)

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Sunstar, Vista, 2022-2023 Cambria, Inspire, 2023 Forza, 2024 Minnie Winnie, Spirit, 2024-2025 Porto and Vita motorhomes. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

Consequence: A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the cooktop control panel, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 5, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 184.

Reported: 2024-10-01 (October 1, 2024)

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2013-2017 Tour, 2013-2018 Journey, 2014-2022 Forza, 2015-2016 Brave, 2015-2019 Grand Tour, 2015-2021 Vista, 2016-2018 Adventurer, Sightseer, 2016-2021 Commercial Vehicle, 2018-2021 Intent, Sunstar, 2018-2020 Horizon, Itasca 2013-2017 Ellipse, Meridian, 2014-2017 Solei, 2015-2016 Tribute, 2015-2018 Sunstar, 2016-2018 Suncruiser, and Sunova motorhomes. The turn signals may have a smaller than required luminous lens area. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) Number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence: A small lens can make it difficult for other drivers to see the turn signal, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the turn signals, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 17, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago Customer Care at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 189.

The hood bracket adhesive may have been incorrectly applied which can allow the bracket to detach.

Consequence: A detached hood bracket may become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters began being mailed January 31, 2025. Owners may contact Winnebago at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 192.

THE DRIVER SIDE IS GOOD, THE PASSENGER SIDE HAS A 1/2"+ GAP AND LOOKS LIKE THE FRONT CAP IS TRYING TO SEPARATE ITSELF FROM THE REST OF THE COACH. DOES NOT GIVE ME A SAFE FEELING. WINNEBAGO SAID IT'S FINE, JUST NEEDS MORE CALK. WOULD LOVE FOR YOU GUYS TO TELL ME IT'S OK! I WILL SHOW A PIC OF THE GOOD SIDE (DRIVER) AND THE BAD SIDE (PASSENGER). HOPE IT'S APPARENT WHI…

White driving the vehicle, the passengers side hood latch bracket (what the hood latch hooks onto to keep the hood closed) fell off the vehicle and was lost, preventing the passenger's side of the hook from latching and leaving it to flap in the breeze. As a result I had to use "bungie cords" to keep the hood closed for the rest of the drive home. Metal brac…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison
