Component is the RV door latch manufactured by TriMark model no. t507. The failure of this lock was that when inside the vehicle the plunger does not fully retract allowing the door to open. If you go on YouTube and search TriMark RV lock repair you will see the multiple failures of not being able to enter/exit the vehicle. In case of a vehicle fire I would not have the physical ability to find a exit. When I removed the interior of the lock there was a small broken piece of plastic. I assume this piece aided in retracting the plunger allowing …

MY WIFE AND I OWN A 2000 MINNIE WINNIE MOTOR HOME WHICH HAS 21,000 MILES ON IT AND LEFT FOR OUR SONS HOCKEY TOURNAMENT IN VIRGINIA BEACH. WE LEFT AT APPROXIMATELY 11:00AM AUG 1, 2007 AND EXPERIENCED A BLOWOUT WITH THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR OUTER TIRE. WHEN THEY PULLED THE TIRE OFF, THEY NOTICED THAT THE TREAD WAS SEPARATED WHERE THE BLOWOUT WAS. THE INNER TIRE TREAD APPEARED AS THOUGHT THE TREAD WAS BEGINNING TO SEPARATE SO THEY REPLACED IT ALSO AND INSPECTED THE REMAINING FOUR WITH NO PROBLEMS. ON AUGUST 5, 2007 WE WERE RETURNING HOME …

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
