DT: THE CONTACT STATED ON APRIL 17, 2005 THE FUEL TANK FOR THE GENERATOR LEAKED GAS. THE GAS LEAKED FROM WHERE THE CONTACT PUT THE GAS NOZZLE INTO THE FILL TUBE OR GAS CAP ITSELF. WHEN THE TANK WAS FULL IT LEAKED EITHER WHEN THE TRAILER WAS BEING PULLED OR WHEN IT WAS PARKED. THIS HAPPENED ONLY WHEN THE GAS TANK WAS FULL. THE VENT LINE TO THE GAS TANK WAS REPAIRED ON MAY 25, 2005 BY THE MANUFACTURER UNDER WARRANTY. HOWEVER, THIS DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM BECAUSE ON NOVEMBER 22, 205 THE GAS TANK LEAKED AGAIN. *AK UPDATED 1/4/2006 …

I BOUGHT A NEW 25' GOOSENECK FLATBED TRAILER BUILT BY A COMPANY IN TEXAS (LOCAL RETAILER CHANGED TRAILER NAME). I HAS ABOUT 10,000 MILES ON IT. IT CAME WITH 4 COOPER DISCOVER RADIAL AST TIRES ON IT. TWO OF THEM ARE STILL ORIGINAL. THE TIRES ARE NOT AT FAULT, THE VALVE STEMS ARE AT FAULT. WITHIN A 6 WEEK PERIOD, ALL FOUR VALVE STEMS CRACKED NEAR THE RIM AND DEFLATED THE TIRES. THE FIRST INCIDENT OCCURRED ON INTERSTATE ROADWAY CAUSING THE TIRE TO HAVE TO BE REPLACED AFTER RUNNING FLAT WHILE MAKING A SAFE STOP. SECOND TIRE (A FEW DAYS LATER), SAME…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
