THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN REPAIRED ACCORDING TO RECALL 09V198000 (SERVICE BRAKES, AIR) ON NOVEMBER 1, 2010. AFTER PICKING THE VEHICLE UP, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE RIGHT FRONT AND REAR OIL SEALS WERE LEAKING. THE CONTACT WAS TOLD THAT HE WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR COSTS. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,781 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 5,801.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 75 MPH, HE NOTICED THAT THE LARGE FRONT SLIDE OUT ON THE VEHICLE PROTRUDED OUTWARD ABOUT 2 1/2 INCHES. IT PROGESSIVELY GOT WORST AND BEGAN TO PROTRUDE TO APPROXIMATELY 6 INCHES. HE USED A JACK TO PRY IT SHUT AND IT STAYED SHUT. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE BRAKE WAS SLIPPING AND IT COULD BE ADJUSTED.
