2012 FLEETWOOD TERRA. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE STEERING ISSUES. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTROL THE RV, WHILE DRIVING DURING MILD WIND CONDITIONS. THE CONSUMER BELIEVED THE RV WAS UNSTABLE, AND IT WAS NOT NORMAL. ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS, WHILE OTHER RV'S WERE PASSING THE CONSUMER, HE HAD TO REDUCE HIS SPEED TO 40 MPH OR LESS AND STILL HAD DIFFICULTY KEEPING THE RV IN THE LANE. THE CONSUMER WAS CONCERNED THAT THE SIDE-TO-SIDE MOTION WILL CAUSE AN ABRUPT LANE CHANGE, THEREBY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. THE CONS…

MY BOYFRIEND AND I PURCHASED OUR NEW RV IN MAY 2013. WE TOOK IT FOR OUR FIRST OUTING IN JUNE 2013. AS MY BOYFRIEND TURNED A RIGHT CORNER AT ABOUT 5 TO 7 MPH, THE SLIDE OUT COUNTER EXTENSION ROLLED OUT AND SMASHED INTO THE DINETTE SET, DIRECTLY ACROSS. THE SLIDE OUT COUNTER IS SECURED BY A SINGLE, SLIDING LATCH. WHEN THE COUNTER IS FULLY LOADED WITH UTENSILS AND OTHER ITEMS, IT EASILY WEIGHS 70+ POUNDS. WE IMMEDIATELY REPORTED THE PROBLEM TO THE DEALERSHIP WHO REPLACED THE LATCH WITH A NEW ONE. ON OUR SECOND OUTING, THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM O…

AFTER FIXING THE SHEARED OFF SCREWS ALL 3 OF THEM ON THE ANGLE PIECE BY THE FIRE WALL MY DASH IS STILL MOVING. FLEETWOOD PUT 3 SCREWS INON BOTH SIDES. I REALLY THINK THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL SINCE THE DASH FELL 2 INCHES WHEN THEY SHEARED OFF. NOW NO ONE WILL TOUCH THE SEPARATION OF THE FLOOR FROM THE WALL THEY SAY GO TO A BODY SHOP. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIMELY INVESTIGATION INTO THE UNSAFE CONDITIONS OF THE 2007 FLEETWOOD TERRA LX MOTORHOME I CURRENTLY OWN. FIRST IS THE DIRECT POSITIONING OF THE EXHAUST PIPE UNDER THE FUEL FILL. HOWEVER, THIS SAME EXACT MODEL, 6 MONTH LATER IS NOW BEING PRODUCED WITH THE EXHAUST EXITING CORRECTLY FROM THE OPPOSITE SIDE. 2002 FLEETWOOD TERRA P32 CHASSIS - I HAD TAKEN MY FOOT OFF THE GAS PEDAL AS I APPROACHED AN INTERSECTION ON A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY. I NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND THE MOTOR HOME WAS NOT SLOWING AS IT SHOULD WITH THIS AMOUNT OF FOOT PRESSURE ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. I WAS ABLE TO SAFELY TURN INTO A PARKING LOT AND THE MOTOR HOME STOPPED DUE TO AN INCLINE. I HAD MY SON GET INTO THE DRIVERS SEAT AND KEEP HIS FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AS I PLACED WHEEL CHOCKS ON THE VEHICLE. AS IT TURNS OUT, THE AUTO PARK BRAKE HAD FAILED AS WELL (M…

THIS RESULTED IN BRAKE FAILURE, MELTED ABS SENSOR AND WARPED ROTORS. REPAIR REQUIRED REPLACEMENT OF ROTORS, BRAKE CALIPERS AND PADS. MILEAGE APPROXIMATELY 60000 MILES. REAR BRAKE CALIPERS STUCK THE SAME WAY (SECOND TRIP) AT APPROXIMATELY 65000 MILES, RESULTING IN EXCESSIVE HEAT AND REPLACEMENT OF CALIPERS, PADS AND ROTORS ON THE REAR. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
