The motorhome was factory equipped with a receiver hitch that shows a rating of 12,000 lbs and a 1200 lb tongue weight. I have towed both an enclosed trailer with a max weight of less than 4000lbs and a Jeep Gladiator in the flat tow configuration. The Jeep weighs less than 5000 lbs. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the coach was flexing abnormally. The contact heard abnormal popping sounds from where the coach was attached to the RV cockpit. The comment was there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why that’s the way it is.
