MY RV LOST BRAKES AND POWER STEERING BECAUSE OF A BRAKE ACTUATOR FAILURE. I TOOK IT TO THE RV IN FOR REPAIR AND I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO REPLACEMENT PART. THEY TOLD ME, THE ONLY WAY THEY COULD GET TO THE BRAKES AND POWER STEERING, WAS TO BY-PASS THE BRAKE ACTUATOR. ONCE THEY DID THAT, THE PARK FEATURE NO LONGER WORKED. EMERGENCY BRAKE HOUSING (PROPSHAFT BRAKE DRUM ASSEMBLY) WHICH SURROUNDS THE DRIVE SHAFT AT THE REAR OF THE TRANSMISSION EXERTED A LOT OF TORQUE PRESSURE TO THE TRANSMISSION ADAPTER CAUSING BOLTS TO FALL OFF AND ADAPTER TO SNAP OFF ALLOWING THE REAR SEAL TO FAIL AND LOOSE TRANSMISSION FLUID THUS RUINING THE TRANSMISSION, DESIGN FLAW OF THE EMERGENCY BRAKE HOUSING SEEMS TO BE THE CAUSE OF TRANSMISSION FAILURE.

WHEN CLIMBING UP A HILL AND THEN GOING DOWN A HILL AT 10 MPH, CONSUMER TOOK HIS FOOT OFF THE GAS PEDAL, AND ENGINE DIED OUT. ALSO THERE WAS NO POWER STEERING. DEALER CAN'T DETERMINE THE CAUS E OF THE PROBLEM.

ODI 11472392

The existing microwave/convention oven on our motorhome stopped working. Removed unit so that I could replace it. Upon removal found that the wall behind the unit had been damaged by heat. The wall covering had melted and the wood substrate had charred. There appeared to be no damage to the back of the microwave/convention oven. At no time during the operation of appliance was smoke or burning smell noticed.
