While at a stop with vehicle running, the vehicle sputters and stalls when trying to accelerate/start moving. The contact owns a 2026 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 10 MPH and depressing the accelerator to make a left turn, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The transmission shifted into neutral, and the vehicle coasted forward. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and activated the hazard lights. The system was reset, and the vehicle was able to accelerate. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle was lopsided due to the driver's side front suspension measuring 38.25 inches from the ground while the passenger's side rear suspension measured 40.5 inches from the ground. The contact was concerned that in the event of a tire blowout, the weight distribution would cause a rollover. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a faulty suspension that needed to be replaced. The dealer informed the contact that the…

On January 17, 2023, while driving down a commonly driven road (Muldoon) in Anchorage, Alaska at approximately 30 mph, I suddenly heard a large air escaping noise "Psh Psh Psh Psh" and it took me a moment to realize what was happening--the dash indicated the PSI of my rear driver's-side tire was deflating rapidly, to completely flat. Had the vehicle lost control in these snowy conditions, it could have ran into multiple other cars on the road--not ruling out the possibility of a roll-over type accident. When I pulled over into a parking lot, I…

Dealer sold us a brand new vehicle with an active recall. Recall# 25S01/25V025 which was released January 21st, 2025. We bought the vehicle [XXX]. There was ample time for the dealer to pull these vehicles from the lot and prevent them from being sold. I spoke with a Ford customer service representative (case# [XXX]) and was told this dealer sold several vehicles with this recall. Description: My 2025 Ford Bronco suffered a catastrophic failure of both rear shock absorver external reservoirs, consistent with Recall 25S01 (NHTSA 25V025). The reservoirs detached intirely while driving out-of-state, forcing an 800-mile transit with 5 passengers on an unstable suspension. Issue: Upon presenting the vehicle to Interstate Ford, the dealer and a Ford Representative issued a formal denial of warranty coverage. They cited Claim Type 14, Condition Code 39 ("Missing Part"). On June 9, 2022, while traveling on an Interstate Highway at about 80 mph, the engine sputtered and died without any warning light activation. The vehicle failure caused an extremely unsafe condition which caused me to navigate without power, in moderate traffic, from the #1 lane, across the #2 lane and onto the shoulder. The failure caused me to perform this high risk maneuver in front of an approaching big rig traveling in the #2 lane. There is an issue when I try to pump gas the pump repeatedly kicks off. It happens every time I put gas in my vehicle. It causes me to not know when the fuel is full. It’s not an issue with the gas pump because it happens at all different locations. It’s a problem with the vehicle itself.

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

TRANSMISSION JUMPS OUT OF OVERDRIVE, AFTERWARDS HARD SHIFTS IN ALL GEARS AFTER HIGH RPMS. THE FIX IS TO STOP, CUT THE ENGINE OFF AND THE TRANSMISSION RESETS FOR LACK ON A BETTER TERM. WHEN THE BRONCO IS IN OD AND IS JUST CRUSING, NOT IN A PULL, IS WHEN THE OD JUMPS OUT. LIKE ANY OTHER THING IT DOES NOT HAPPEN ALL THE TIME.
