Recall history
3 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.
13V104000 · Exterior Lighting:Turn Signal
Reported: 2013-03-22 (March 22, 2013)
Triumph Motorcycles (Triumph) is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Daytona 675, Street Triple, Speed Triple, and Tiger 800 motorcycles. Due to a manufacturing error, the turn signal stems on the front and rear of the motorcycle may fracture.
Consequence: If the turn signal stems break, the turn signals may not be visible to other vehicles on the road, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
Remedy: Triumph will notify owners and dealers will replace the turn signal stems, free of charge. The recall began on March 26, 2013. Owners may contact Triumph at 1-678-854-2010 for more information.
NHTSA campaign record ↗13V319000 · Service Brakes, Hydraulic:Antilock/Traction Control/Electronic Limited Slip
Reported: 2013-07-22 (July 22, 2013)
Triumph Motorcycles is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Street Triple and Street Triple R motorcycles manufactured in July 2012; and model year 2012-2013 Daytona 675 and Daytona 675 R motorcycles manufactured September 2012 through June 2013. Due to a manufacturing error, the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) may malfunction and lose anti-lock functionality.
Consequence: The anti-lock function may not perform properly allowing for wheel lock up and skidding, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Triumph will notify owners and dealers will replace the ABS modulator, free of charge. The recall began during August 2013. Owners may contact Triumph at 1-888-283-5288.
NHTSA campaign record ↗14V548000 · Steering
Reported: 2014-09-10 (September 10, 2014)
Triumph Motorcycles America, LTD (Triumph) is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Triumph Street Triple and Street Triple R motorcycles manufactured July 1, 2012, to October 1, 2013, and equipped with ABS. In the affected motorcycles, the four bolts that secure the two cable guides on either side of the headstock do not contain threadlock. As a result, the bolts could loosen.
Consequence: If the bolts loosen, steering movement could be restricted, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Triumph will notify owners, and dealers will replace the four bolts with new bolts containing threadlock, free of charge. The recall began on November 7, 2014. Owners may contact Triumph customer service at 1-678-854-2010. Triumph's number for this recall is Service Bulletin 501.

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
2012: 1 complaints · 2013: 0 complaints

Date coverage across each selected cohort
| Year | Incident dates used | Filing date fallbacks | Excluded dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2012 | 4 | 0 | 0 |
| 2013 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
