Reported: 2014-06-12 (June 12, 2014) · Model years: 2014, 2015

Winnebago Industries, Inc (Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Winnebago Travato, Trend, and Itasca Viva motorhomes manufactured November 13, 2013 through June 9, 2014, built on Ram ProMaster chassis. The affected vehicles may experience circuit corrosion from water intrusion around the in-floor battery cover and door footwell trim.

Consequence: This water intrusion may affect the running of the vehicle and disable the air bags, stop lamps, turn signals, backup lights, and/or door locks, increasing the risk of a crash as well as injury to the occupants if the air bags do not deploy.

Remedy: Chrysler on behalf of Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will inspect all the connectors in the footwell areas, the ignition fuse and the occupant restraint control (ORC) module for corrosion, if corrosion is found, dealers will repair the connectors in the footwell area and the ignition fuse, and replace the ORC module. Reported: 2015-01-12 (January 12, 2015) · Model years: 2014, 2015

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Winnebago Trend, Travato, and Itasca Viva motorhomes manufactured November 13, 2013, to December 23, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) may fail to learn the locations of the individual sensors while the vehicle is being driven. As a result, the low tire pressure warning light will illuminate, despite the the tire pressures being within specification. Should one of the tires lose air pressure, the driver would not be notified of the change in air pressure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."

Consequence: If the TPMS light illuminates because the sensors cannot be located, it could mask an actual low tire pressure condition, possibly resulting in tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

This is a 2022 Winnebago Travato 59G on the 2021 Ram Promaster. We have already done the two recalls on the Carefree Awning at Meridian ID Camping World, most recent in May 2024. #22V-696, 23V-627. The van has been driven in town a few times since the most recent recall fix with no incident. Now the awning noisily deployed when the ignition was turned ON. I turned the engine off, awning stopped about 75% out. We were luckily NOT parked next to anything that could have been damaged and were not away from home. Awning cannot be extended or retra…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

May 24,2025 as we were driving, the awning completely deployed out causing us to quickly drive on a safer lane to the side to avoid any risk to other drivers. This is definitely a safety risk for travel that can put ourselves and others at harm or crash collision. There were no prior warning whatsoever on our dash board or driver console at all during this incident.
