The first issue was coming to a bridge in SC that was maybe 400 feet in length. There were lots of transition strips and dips on the bridge. When I first approached the bridge, my Motorhome bounced/propoised so violently that my wife flew up out of her sit and the front end dropped to the stops on the frame. The rear camera video will interminably go blank when backing. It will also sometimes change to the front view camera view which almost caused an accident in heavy freeway traffic because I thought I lost my trailer. I have had to replace 3 camera in 3 years and both Newmar and the camera manufacture Riverpark/Xicte have no solutions. Now the latest is to start replacing cables. The steps on this unit failed to retract after closing the door, and as I drove away, the steps hit a fence post. They could just as easily hit a person or driving down the road hit another vehicle. There is no warning system on this vehicle to warn the steps did not function as designed, and they are not readily visible from the driver seat. Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
2022: 3 complaints · 2023: 1 complaints
| Model year | Through age 0 | Through age 1 | Through age 2 |

Date coverage across each selected cohort
| Year | Incident dates used | Filing date fallbacks | Excluded dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2022 | 3 | 0 | 1 |
| 2023 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
