Similar to recall 22V-273 for older Tiffin Allegro Bays and Open Roads, our 2024 Allegro Bay slide room comes out 6-8" on it's own and has now started coming out while driving. Part supplier Lippert confirms it and says parts are being manufactured to address the problem. This has been an issue since purchase and the dealer, Tiffin and Lippert are all aware. There is no warning that the slide is creeping other than wind noise.

Shortly following delivery of the motorhome, there appeared a catastrophic crack in the fiberglass on the leading side of the overhead bunk (driver's side). Left unresolved, the primary safety concern is that the crack will expand and, while traveling (especially at higher speed), the top portion of the overhead bunk will separate from the motorhome - putting motorists traveling behind, and anyone then in the overhead bunk, at risk. The motorhome has been inspected by an independent I-CAR Gold Class repair professional and remains available f…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

THE AUTO PARK BRAKE (J72) ON MY WORKHORSE W-24 CHASSIS ACTIVATED WHILE TRAVELING 65 MPH ON ARKANSAS INTERSTATE 35 BRINGING THE VEHICLE TO A VERY ABRUPT STOP. AFTER BEING TOWED TO A REPAIR SHOP AND WAITING 10 DAYS FOR REPAIR, WE WERE NOTIFIED NO PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE UNTIL EARLY MAY. UPON RETURNING HOME (OHIO), WE HAVE DISCOVERED THERE IS CURRENTLY NO ONE MAKING THE PARTS AND M…

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT WE EXPERIENCED BRAKE FAILURE. BERGEY'S GARAGE IN FRANCONIA, PA., TRANSPORTED OUR VEHICLE TO THEIR FACILITY AND REPAIRED THE CALIPERS ON BOTH REAR BRAKES PLUS OTHER COLLATERAL DAMAGE. PICTURES WERE TAKEN AND THEY CONTACTED WORKHORSE CUSTOM CHASSIS IN TROY, MI TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY WOULD COVER SINCE A SAFETY RECALL NOTICE 50901 C WAS ISSUED. *TR
