3 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.

22V150000 · Service Brakes, Hydraulic:Foundation Components:Master Cylinder | Service Brakes, Hydraulic:Power Assist

Reported: 2022-03-11 (March 11, 2022)

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2016-2017 Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, and 2016-2018 F-150 vehicles equipped with 3.5L Ecoboost engines. The brake master cylinder may allow brake fluid to leak from the front wheel circuit into the brake booster.

Consequence: A loss of brake fluid may result in a change in brake pedal travel, increased pedal effort and reduced front brake function, requiring greater effort and distance to stop the vehicle. These conditions can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the brake master cylinder. If the master cylinder is leaking, the brake booster will also be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. An interim owner notification letter notifying customers of the safety defect were mailed on April 29, 2022. Owner notification letters were mailed April 29, 2022. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall number 20V-332. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22S11.

Reported: 2025-09-03 (September 3, 2025)

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC, Mustang, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, F-450 SD, 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, 2015-2018 Edge, Transit Connect, 2016-2019 F-550 SD, Transit, 2017-2019 Econoline, and 2019 Ranger vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.

Consequence: A rearview camera that displays an inverted, distorted, or blank image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2026. Ford owners will receive letters in phases, beginning January 2026 and June 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S89. Tried turning the car off and on several times, tried turning the radio off, tried switching to Serius xm radio, nothing would make it stop and it was completely unsafe to drive it like that. It was too loud to hear anything else over it and it was so jarring. I now have a headache and i’m nervous to drive it for fear of it happening again. The vehicle vibrates substantially at 60-80 mph. Vibrates at lower speeds as well but not as bad. Dealer has had the car for over 40 days. All new expeditions and Lincoln navigators have it as I have driven over 15 now. Vibration is clearly noticeable. Many sales people comment say it’s tires. The dealer shop foreman all acknowledge it. They have balanced tires and driveshaft- charged me for all of it. We have a small business and drive across country a lot. This makes the vehicle useless for that purpose. While driving down the road, the sunroof spontaneously exploded. The loud bang (sounded like a gun shot) and tiny pieces of glass, that luckily were caught in the sunshade, could have been disastrous for my wife and our three small children that were in the car. The glass is bowed outwards. It has been taken back to Mullinax Ford Dealership for repair. They tell me it will not be covered under any warranty. There were no warning signs before now that there could be a problem with this sunroof, we only have 5k miles on the vehicle.

Rear camera fails intermittently. Phone stopped connecting through BlueTooth. Tried different phone. Still won’t connect. Tried resetting to factory settings. Nothing. Blower fan only works on 1 speed. Changed blower motor and wiring harness. Still not working. Changed the ccm73. Still won’t work. I accidentally found what I thought was a recall on APIM but dealer says there is no recalls.

AROUND JULY 2018 MY EXPEDITION STARTED JUST RANDOMLY CUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING WITH MY 2 CHILDREN IN THE CAR. AFTER GETTING THE CODES READ IT CAME UP AS THE THROTTLE BODY. WE HAD THE THROTTLE BODY REPLACED AND IT SEEMED TO HELP UNTIL ABOUT NOV 2018 THEN INSTEAD OF CUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING THE CAR WOULD JERK HARD AND THEN YOU COULD NOT ACCELERATE OVER ABOUT 50MPH. MULTIPLE THINGS STARTED FLASHING ON THE DASH LIKE THE WRENCH, TRACTION CONTROL, HILL DESCENT, AND CHECK ENGINE. WE GOT ALL CODES READ AND THIS TIME IT WAS THE MAP SENSOR. WE HAVE REPL…

WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE VERY BUSY INTERSTATE AT 75-80 MPH THE VEHICLE JERKED AND THEN LOST ALL THROTTLE POWER. THE WRENCH INDICATOR LIGHT CAME ON. WITH NO THROTTLE I HAD TO EASE MYSELF INTO THE NARROW SHOULDER WHILE SEMI AFTER SEMI FLEW BY. THIS WAS TERRIFYING! I TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF & BACK ON AND IT WORKED FINE TO HEAD HOME. IT HAPPENED 2 MORE TIMES ON THE WAY HOME BUT THANKFULLY ON SMALL COUNTRY ROADS.

I'M DRIVING AT NORMAL SPEED WHEN SUDDENLY MY MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHTS UP AND NO ENGINE POWER. THE POWER STEERING, BRAKING, LIGHTING AND CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEMS REMAIN FULLY FUNCTIONAL, HOWEVER THE VEHICLE NO LONGER REMAINS OPERATIONAL. FORD HAS A RECALL 16B32 AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROGRAM IN OTHER FORD VEHICLES, BUT NOT MINE, BUT THE SAME EXACT THING IS HAPPENING. . $890 LATTER I AM HAVING MY ELECTRONIC THROTTLE BODY REPLACED WITH ONLY 52,000 MILES AND FORD HAS NOTHING TO SAY ABOUT THE PROBLEM SINCE THE EXPEDITION IS NOT PART OF THE …

6 months ago, electronic power steering failed (Control module?). Today. Electric throttle body - Code P2111. Driving down the road and lost acceleration (the “limp” condition). Engine is running but no reaction to the gas pedal. Wrench symbol on the dash. I coasted to a spot where I could get out of traffic. Restarted the vehicle and the error went away. When I made it home, I removed the throttle body. Butterfly was a little dirty but much cleaner than the ones shown on YouTube. Opened the gear box and it was clean too. However, s…

It just happened when driving and now happens every time on startup. No power steering. This began in November 2022. We have be…

On Apil 6 about 6:15 am I was on my way to work. And I start smelling what appears to be a gas smell and I wasn’t quite sure what was coming from so I cracked the window a little bit and said that I would try to check it when I got to work seeing that I was only roughly about 10 minutes away from work and out the corner of my right eye I noticed a flicker of light and it appeared to be flames coming from the passenger side of my vehicle under the dashboard around the blow motor area and the fuse box panel. I immediately poured over, turned the …
